Resting Up.

So this is officially our last week in New Zealand, and we are making the most of every moment! On Monday we headed out to the Karangahake Gorge track on the way to Waihi and had an amazing time walking along the old mine tracks and exploring the tunnels (pretty surreal seeing some of the tools, tunnels and shafts that were used back in the 1800's early 1900's!!). Definitely worth the trip :)

Now we are out at Raglan, staying with a friend in her beautiful batch overlooking the ocean. Taking the time to rest up, as next week is going to be all go when we land in Melbourne! So much to get sorted once we are there, and not to mention hunting down some pretty epic jobs. It's all about the adventure though! The idea of starting from scratch gets me kind of excited! New furniture, new house, new homewares! If any of you have some awesome websites or shops that's worth visiting to find some awesome new goodies for our house, please forward them along :)

Ooh and it's so nice to see so many people from Melbourne popping by on here, a big hello to you all!

  1. Ah! So jealous your moving to one of my favourite cities. Melbourne is super easy to get around, and so much fun! I love the lanes and alley ways. So gorgeous.

    Good luck on your adventure!

  2. Hey good luck with your big move. In the last 10 years I have been moving myself 7 times and againg this year leaving NZ for OZ so I know the exitment. I probably wont sound original but IKEA is always good place to start off with buying new house stuff. Maybe because I'm from Europe and since I dont have IKEA here in Dunedin or maybe because its just fun walking around the shop with pencil and writing down the numbers of things you buy:)
