I don't care too much for money.

(candi mandi)

First off, sorry lovelies for my absence these last few days! I have been too sore to do anything more that just want to lie in bed and read. I don't think I have ever fallen so much on my bum/arm/spine/neck/wrists/knees as what I did on the slopes this last weekend! Pain is going to be my friend for the next few days I think. So I think I am going to return to the couch for now! Anyone got any suggestions of how to make all the muscle pain go away??

Someone go make me a cuppa please! :)

Full bloom

(craig schlewitz)

I am so in love with these warm colours! I wish I could just jump into the photo and bask in the sun. The teapot with flowers are particularly sweet. I can't wait to handpick flowers when they are in full bloom and make beautiful arrangements.

Happy Weekend!

Hello colour

(image one. image two. image three. image four.)

I saw the first blossoms this week! Spring is on it's way. I cannot wait till colour gets reintroduced to my palette of clothing and my surroundings! Oh colour, I have missed you!

This week I am really looking forward to the weekend. I am having a weekend off from work and to celebrate, we are heading down to the snow! Finally I will be able to use my board that has been sitting in the closet for over a year now. And I bought some really nice bright turquoise snow pants last week, so I am geared up and ready to go!

A bit ironic looking forward to seeing some colour and then head down to the snow where there is nothing but white. Well atleast my bright pants will brighten up the slopes :)

Enough of the novels

Lately I have been writing some novels on here (I know, there's some wordy posts!), so thought today I would just simply share my daily photos like :) I love the warm tones connects these photos, makes me wish I was there!

Welcome to my Wonderland

Well friends, they are finally here!

Here are some snippets of our little store - Rox at The Base. These last few weeks we have had little sleep, but I am happy to say, for the final outcome it was worth it! If you are ever in Hamilton, New Zealand, make sure you pop by :)It's been crazy fun, as Emma (from But Honestly) and her husband, and my hubby and I, are set on making this the best store! We have a lot of exciting things coming up (like House of Harlow arriving in stores in September *yay*!) so it's a pure joy to share my "second home" with you.

Happy!

Free Falling

top jennipenni bottom john mayer

Oh my, this Much Love Monday I am obliged to do a post on music that I would put to my life's soundtrack, or as Barney Stinsen would say, my "get psyched" list.

I am absolutely loving John Mayer's version of Free Falling, along with his older one, Say. But that song specifically has been on repeat for me this whole last week. If you ever get the chance to see him perform live, don't miss it! He is one crazy musician.

What would you songs at the moment would you put on your "life's soundtrack"?

Pepper Stiches

(credit)

People like Pepper Stiches inspire me to take up a needle and thread and get some sewing done! Aren't these adorable? I am so set on getting some plain hemp material and sew some gorgeous pillows for my house.

Edit: I just found her online store on Made It, so if you are interested in purchasing any items, check it out :)
