Sweet Tooth.
Photography by Elizabeth from Weepy Hollow.
There's nothing I would like more at the moment than to sink my teeth into a warm soft brioche, a creamy cool ice-cream or eating the dough out of the bowl of some freshly baked batch of cookies. But alas, I am refraining from all these sweet treats for the time being. Instead I shall be dreaming of baking some cupcakes and intricate puddings. Oh Summer, such a great motivation to get healthy!
Anyone have any recommendations for sweet treats that is not filled with sugar or artificial flavours, I would love you forever! Especially if it is something I can make/bake myself :)

I can totally relate.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I took action in taking the whole living action plan 2012 of which I wrote on my blog (if you're interested you can download a selfmade booklet here -> http://www.2shared.com/document/zyypK57/whole_living_action_plan_2012_.html) serious - For more information visit this link: http://www.wholeliving.com/152870/2012-whole-living-action-plan.
And what I plan on making tommorow to satisfy my sweet tooth is pistachio stuffed dates with coconut. (recipe -> http://www.wholeliving.com/151444/pistachio-stuffed-dates-coconut)
Another thing I found out is that selfmade smoothies contain a lot of natural sugar so you should try to make these two. :)
Love,
Jay.
ps. tell me if you liked it.

I love ice creams too. Aside from the chocolates and cakes, ice cream is one of my comfort food. I always have pints of ice cream in my freezer so I can always get whenever I want to. Although I love chocolates, I always make sure to maintain good oral hygiene to maintain the integrity of my teeth and gums. mini implants
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to eat sweets as long as you take care of your oral health. I wish more dental professionals would speak up. Maybe if they got more involved with dental marketing services, their voices would be heard.
ReplyDeleteThose ice creams look delicious indeed. If you would like my recommendation for sweet treats that are safe to the teeth, I would recommend eating fruits. They are healthy and they do not contain these artificial flavors.

You have to take extra care of your teeth if you have a sweet tooth, since you always seem to be eating to many sweets.

I wonder what my dentist Rockville MD would say after I munched on all of these sweets!
ReplyDeleteMytucson az dentists doesn't really stop me from eating sweets but rather they advise me to regularly brush my teeth to remove all the ingredients left in my mouth that may cause tooth cavities and many other oral problems.
ReplyDeleteGetting your body ready for summer just might be the only reason why I'd stay away from sweets, too. My dentist knows of this weakness, and always reminds me to take better care of my teeth.

I love ice cream, desserts and anything sweets. I know that these kinds of food really contribute a lot in the development of oral problems such as tooth cavities, I always make sure that I brush my teeth after eating.

So many sweets. It'd be heaven for anyone with a sweet tooth, myself included. Still, it is important to remember to not go overboard. Tooth decay and diabetes are no laughing matter.

I wish I can still be as obnoxious about sweets as I used to be, not until I came across my dentist
ReplyDeleteronald receveur who have taught me quite enough discipline to resist the urges.
How lovely, I wish I can say the same except that I just got from another 'hella procedure with my neuromuscular dentistry. I guess I need another 2 weeks to feast my senses on those.
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's eaten in moderation, as what my dentists knoxville tn advise my kids to do, then it will not cover the teeth's enamel with too much acid that can lead to decay.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Xander. That's why I make it a point to visit my bartlett dentist every time I know I have gone overboard with satisfying my sweet tooth.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of sweets ever since I was a kid. This is the main reason I experienced a lot of tooth decays when I was a teenager. I have a feeling that even my los angeles dentist got tired of treating my teeth.

Another disadvantage is that dental implants do require a surgical procedure. The implant is being placed into your bones, and there are some very small risks that add up to about 1% for individuals. nice blog.
